About the Recruitment
The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released a Special Recruitment Drive for 10,673 Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) Teacher posts. Only candidates who are currently working as Contractual or State Pool Teachers under Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA) are eligible to apply for this recruitment.

The recruitment will be conducted as per the Assam Elementary Education (Provincialisation) (Amendment) Rules – 2025 and Govt. approval via eFile No. 532785 dated 28/10/2025.

Salary / Pay Scale
The selected teachers will receive salary under Pay Band – 2 (PB-2):

Eligibility Criteria
1️⃣ Employment Status
- The candidate must be a Contractual Teacher or State Pool Teacher under Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA).
- The candidate must be serving as on 30 September 2025.
2️⃣ Minimum Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of continuous service as on 30 September 2025.
3️⃣ Educational & Professional Qualification
- Qualifications must comply with NCTE norms.
- Candidate must meet existing Government Rules & Conditions for the post.
4️⃣ Other Instructions
- Candidate must apply only for the post and category they are already holding under SSA.
- Only one application is allowed per candidate.
